Deal of the Week

In this week’s video blog, our Director of Training Kevin Shortle walks you through a REO case study. Why REO? Isn’t that a real estate purchase? YES, the note business is a part of the real estate industry! But this REO was not a bank REO, rather it was a Colonial capital fund REO. You see REO simple stands for “real estate owned”, and this one wasn’t bank owned but rather a result of a non-performing loan that we foreclosed upon. We make these assets available on our trading platform NotesDirect.com.

The return on investment here was much greater than buying bank REO’s. Watch this video to see how they got in this deal and what their exit strategy was.
