Virginia Rogers is no stranger to success. With a career spanning multiple industries and decades, this serial entrepreneur has built and sold businesses, weathered economic storms, and continually reinvented herself. Virginia’s journey took an unexpected turn when she invested in a real estate development project in San Antonio. What started as a passive investment became a crash course in real estate development when she had to step in as a general partner during the 2008 financial crisis.
“It was really baptism by fire,” Virginia recalls. “I had to learn everything from scratch during the worst time in the world to come into this business.”
Despite the challenges, Virginia’s tenacity and business acumen shone through. She navigated the project through the recession, eventually selling it in 2014 for a profit that continues to pay dividends today.
Discovering NoteSchool: A New Path to Passive Income

“I love getting thousands of dollars every month coming into my mailbox,” Virginia shares with a smile. “It’s much more pleasant and passive than my previous investments.”
Building a Legacy
Beyond personal financial success, Virginia sees her note investing as a way to create a lasting legacy for her family. She’s actively involving her children and grandchildren in the business, bringing them to industry events like NoteSchool’s Note Expo.
“I want to leave something worthwhile to my kids and grandkids,” Virginia explains. “I’m building a portfolio that will be easy for them to continue and provide an income stream for generations.”
